We are excited to announce that GAMTA will be returning to the SEC this Christmas with the fantastic JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. This is a sensational opportunity and YOU can be part of it

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a vibrant musical retelling of the biblical story of Joseph, his envious brothers, and his rise to power in Egypt. Filled with timeless classic songs like "Any Dream Will Do" and "Close Every Door", this family-friendly show is a joyful journey of hope, forgiveness, and dreams coming true. A perfect show for Christmas

We can't wait to stage this SENSATIONAL musical at the fabulous SEC Glasgow.

We are looking for children and young people from the ages of 8 to 16 years who are passionate about theatre, developing their skills and are keen to work with our team of professional creatives, to stage this production of JOSEPH. You will work with the very best tutors, choreographers, directors in the industry. You will be joining our specialist musical theatre training school, developing your skills to the highest level whilst gaining an insight into the workings of a professional production team who collectively have over 40 years of west end production experience.

The first audition, should you be successful, gains you entry to the Joseph Company and Specialist Training School. Auditions for PRINCIPAL CAST will take place at the start of the rehearsal process and these auditions are open to everyone.

Auditions for JOSEPH COMPANY and specialist training school, will take place on Saturday 30th August at our campus in Dornoch Street, Glasgow. You will be offered an audition place in either our morning group (10am - 1pm) or afternoon group (2pm - 5pm). You will be required to take part in a number of workshops and perform a solo audition. You DO NOT need to prepare anything. Instead you will learn material on the day itself.

WE ARE PARTICULARLY KEEN TO AUDITION NEW STUDENTS FOR THE ROLES OF THE BROTHERS AND THE BROTHERS WIVES.

TERM TRAINING WILL BEGIN SATURDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER

You will be notified of the results of your audition within one week. Rehearsals commence Saturday 20th September and weekly until the show. There will be extra rehearsals however a show calendar will be issued to you within your acceptance welcome pack. Commitment to every week is COMPULSORY. We cannot grant leave during the rehearsal process for any reason.

Fee: Performing in a production of this calibre incurs cost and receiving high quality Musical Theatre training also incurs cost. However, in the interest of accessibility for all we have kept these cost to an absolute minimum.

If you accept your Joseph Company offer, you will be required to pay your term fee* before the start of rehearsals on Saturday 13th September (i.e. payable Friday 12th September).

The term fee is £280*.
A sibling discount of 15% is available should siblings be accepted.

*Term fees are non-refundable, under any circumstances. Following completion of your first term at GAMTA, you will be eligible to pay monthly (£70 per month, or appropriate to your class placement - see class fees on website)
